Want to submit tracks from your iPod to Last.fm?
The Official Last.fm client has iPod support

Want to play music on a PC without iTunes?
Need a handy way to copy songs from your iPod back to a computer?
Try PodPlayer. A simple little app that you can carry around and run from your iPod.

Do you live in Europe? Unable to hear your iPod on the bus or train?
Apply GoPod. European iPods have their volume level capped to comply with regulations, but it's a bit accessive.
GoPod removes that cap, allowing you to increase the volume substantially. (doesn't seem to work with newest ipods/nanos)

Need a little help with my iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G: updated bot (non-jailbroken) devices to iOS 5.1 (Windows 7 Ultimate, iTunes 10.6) but the play-count is missing. I was listening to about 50 songs using both devices but iTunes didn't count the plays. I'm going back to iOS 5.0.1 on my iPod. Anyone noticed the same bug? THX
