Recently I've been thinking about what use of emos could we have as a society - and emos cleaning public toilets is one of my ideas. We could still beat them if they wouldn't do well, of course.

And I'm kinda scared with this. It has happened twice already in two of the biggest cities from our country. I've got a couple of full news from mexican papers. Lemme translate them and I'll update them later on.

In this way tenths of youngsters wanted to finish with a group of boys in Arms Square in Querétaro.

The attackers reunited there with just one motive: drive away the so-called "emos".

Days before, through the web, a call appeared, asking "to rescue" the square. A movement, auto called "anti-emo" asked to end up with a group of youths who met there. Youths best known for features like dressing in black, and covering their face with bangs of hair.

(All the people in the mob at 0:46 are screaming "He wants to cry, wants to cry"... it's pretty common here to scream that as a way of mocking someone)

The call was pretty succesfull, hundreds of people were about to lynch the emos.

"They don't bother me, the emos, they don't bother me. What bothers me is that they take one side [of the square] as theirs, that monopolize the square. It also bothers me that they look more like girls than guys..."

Luckily, the intervention of some youngsters and the municipal police avoided a tragic ending.

"We make a cordial invitation to the parents of this youngsters so they check closely on the activities their children are getting into."

They announced that next weekends there will be more displays of security in uptown Queretaro in order to stop the violence against the emos.

With information by Adan Olvera, "Fuerza Informativa Azteca" (Azteca News Group).

This clip is from one of the major news groups in the country.

Since this was aired out, there have been other two incidents.

I'm mexican, actually. I was really laughing when I saw that on the Newspaper and the TV news. The only problem is that the government is kind of protecting them.

That's true, another problem is that everybody is talking about emos in mexico, they are receiving all the attention of the media, I was sick of watching emos in the street every single day, now I have to see them on the TV and newspapers.
