This group was made on my birthday, I can dig it. YHF is still the best alternative album I've heard.

I suppose Big Star was Beatlesque at times so that would make my argument redundant. One cannot argue that they do not sound very much like the Beatles, but Big Star was more inclined to write edgy melancholy songs as Wilco often does which is why I would say they are closer to Big Star than the Beatles.

I don't know. Can't Stand it, Hate it Here, Company in My Back, even Jesus is pretty Beatlesesque. I remember reading some YHF review that called "I am trying to break your heart" the grandson of "A Day in the Life". Just sayin',

I think Summerteeth is closer to Big Star than the Beatles, but those two are very similar.

Well folks, my band Gasoline is in the frustrating position of having the record done, but not being in a position to get it printed up proper. It has been sitting on the shelf for a few months now doing nothing, so the decision has been taken to set it free. That's right, you can download it here: http://www.last.fm/music/Gasoline/Well+Hid+Bones Tell your friends, and tell 'em quick, because this is a limited time only sort of thing. Oh, and as far as the cover art is concerned, I'm in the process of finding out why last.fm won't let me upload it, so keep checking back. Or drop us a line if you want it all, not just the front cover. Happy listening.

Some songs off Summerteeth are Beatlesesque and they definetely take a lot from the Beatles, like most great bands but no - other than that; you're off your rocker in my opinion.
