Amanda Lear... Queen of Disco Town!

Amanda Lear is a French model, adult model, polyglot, painter, novelist, muse to Salvador Dali, actress, media personality, composer, lyricist, singer and icon who was a Disco Queen in Continental Europe, the Eastern Bloc and most other parts of the world in the mid 1970s to the early 1980s. She first came to the public's attention as the fetishistically clad model on the cover of Roxy Music's album For Your Pleasure in 1973.

In late 2009, she made a successful comeback with her double album "Brief Encounters", followed by a 9-track club disco record called "Brand New Love Affair". In other words, real European disco queen, Amanda Lear is back!
