Alison sings backing vocals on 'Face Me', the hidden 16th track on Plaid's 'Rest Proof Clockwork'. The main vocalist is Mara Carlyle, who wrote the song. It was beautifully reinvented and renamed 'It's Time' for her debut album 'The Lovely'. I guess you can probably tell by now that I know this from being a Mara Carlyle obsessive rather than a Goldfrapp obsessive.

Thanx, I've added that one. Also, in searching for more info' on Alison's credit, on the track, I reminded of this Goldfrapp.co.uk thread and found Membres.Lycos.fr/ferdinandfeys, both providing loads more [s]work[/s] content, for this entry. The best part was that, the new finds includes a couple more streamable tracks (currently, there are ten), sometime this'll play as a station :)

Thanx raw_u and cyberchrist - I've found streamable versions of the Giradet / Goldfrapp tracks, bringing the streamable count up to twelve. I'd make my day if a few Spacer tracks came on-line, to make this tag streamable. - Ian

I'm not sure, because I don't have the liner notes with me right now, but I don't think Alison Goldfrapp appears on the three tracks from Peter Gabriel's 'OVO' album (2000) - the two 'Time of the Turning' tracks and 'Make Tomorrow'. Certainly, it's Elizabeth Fraser (from the Cocteau Twins) doing the lead female vocals on those tracks.

Ta! Discogs.com/release/771287 seems to agree with you. May be some confusion over Will (from Goldfrapp)'s credit. I'll check my sources - Best, Ian[sub] Alison Goldfrapp[/sub]

E - Peter Gabriel & studios? Now we're talking! A friend of mine was a former girlfriend of a founding designer at Korg (Peter was a Korg patron). She told me that he had a brook running under one of his studios, fish and what-not visible through glass flooring - this would've been late '80s. I'm not sure if that's now Real World - However, since hearing that, it's been atop of my list of studios I'd most like to record in! Back on topic - If you can come up with per-track citations of Alison's involvement on OVO, I'll correct this accordingly and, if they're authoritative enough, it'd be worth doing the running to update Discogs entries, also - Best, Ian x
