Artist Connections.

  • Artist Connections.

    Yeah there needs to be more.

    For those new to the gruff things to look out when spotting a gruff band:
    * The vocals sound similar to the bands already listed (obviously).
    * Beards.
    * Tattoos.
    * Gibson SGs.

    Good luck gruff spotting.

  • Gunmoll spring to mind. I know I have loads more gruff punk but I can't think of it and it's annoying.

  • I was going to say Milloy but they're already on the list.

    i reckon YMATAB fit the requirements, i don't see why they dont anyway

  • They've been added but due to their complex name and low number of fans on here it's abit messy in terms of which of their many artist pages to hook ourselves upto.

    I'll have a look into which profile has the most fans connected to it now.

    The Steal? Pavey is the least gruff vocalist ever. Both the band and he are lovely though.

    the great st. louis
    the fractions

  • Here's some bands that I think would fit nicely in this group.
    American Steel
    The Broadways
    Caustic Soda
    The Enablers
    House On Fire
    Panthro UK United 13

    And of course Louis Armstrong.

  • Tom Waits, Johnny Cash and Will Whitmore? Not really bands, but awesome and gruffly.

    Also, how about...

    True North
    Billy Reese Peters
    Glass and Ashes
    The Holy Mountain
    The Sainte Catherines
    Small Brown Bike
    His Hero is Gone (too crusty? From Ashes Rise / Tragedy too.)
    Twelve Hour Turn
    Reactionary 3
    One Reason

    that'll do for now. Don't think any of them were on already. They are nearly all on No Idea though. Hmm.
