  … But don’t go around sayin’ that people who *sincerely* like something that happens to be “hot” shallow – if anything, they just have a more “common” musical taste... There should be no shame in liking something mainstream no more than there should be any shame in liking something that's not. Now, if someone likes something just *because* it's mainstream, well, then I can see the argument. ;)

  Just bear with me for a sec... But is it really fair to say people are shallow because they prefer a certain type of music over, say... Punk? Everyone has different taste - what's incredible to one person's ears can be caustic noise to the next. Pretending to like that noise in order to be fit in or to be accepted... Now *that's* shallow…

  i've followed them from the beginning and with every new album i,ve seen them grow into the music there playing now. al albums are great and it depends on the mood i,m in to wich album i listen afi is just a rock band ,no emo ,no punk ,no hardcore ,there just to good to be labelled

  I think Decemberunderground, isn't good as an album, but have some good songs. But others albums are good at all. I can't tell what is my favouite AFI's song, but if you ask me what is my favourite album, I anwser: Art of Drowing, but i really like every afi's album
