Maybe you are seeing this Last FM group in french because I am, so don't forget to change the language thanks to the little flag (right corner of your screen, under your name).

In case you were not able to attend the Sainte Rock show or stay up late to watch the livestream, the livestream for this show has been archived. Great show despite the distraction of the balloons and the movie in the background whenever the camera showed Uncle Larry. http://www.justin.tv/saintrocke/b/267089440

You probably have seen the wonderful B&W pictures of 100 Monkeys taken by Phoenix Taylor. Well Phoenix spent 7 days with the guys and has published the photos in a book titled No Sleep (appropriate title for this band). You can purchase a hardcover or softcover version of this book at blurb. http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/1378960

Ok, I meant Jerad Anderson, not Ben Johnson (must have been one of those days) in the post about raffle items

For the Spencer Bell Legacy concert, we are adding some items to the raffle including some DVDs possibly signed by the actors (Jackson Rathbone, Ben Johnson, Ben Graupner), a Dread DVD that MAY be signed by Stevedores (Fearful is one of their songs played in the credits), and a few funsaver cameras that ALL the bands will be filling all weekend (like the disposable cameras that have been auctioned off on 100Monkeys tour). Raffle tickets are being sold at www.asccnow.com Also, Dr. Gary Hammer, director of the Endocrine Oncology Program at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center, will be a guest speaker. For more information, please go to www.asccnow.com or www.spencerbellmemorial.com

Indie bands blog has posted an article about the Spencer Bell Legacy concert. This is the first indie band site that has promoted the concert and it is my hope that they and other indie band sites will spread the word for not only the concert but the indie bands that perform. Please take a look and consider commenting. http://www.indiebandsblog.com/indie-bands-blog-round-up/tour-news/artists-supporting-a-cure-for-cancer-24th-april-1010-show

These two events have not been announced at 100Monkeys music site. The first has been posted in the events section. SXSW is a huge music, film, and industry festival that is held for 5 days in Austin, Texas. 100Monkeys has a performance on March 20th at 10pm at The Parish. http://sxsw.com/music/shows/byvenue?a=day&s=2010-03-20. Note that there are no daily passes and the five day badge is costly. However, you may still be able to go as they admit badge holders first and then sell tickets to non badge holders. A free jam session will take place at Callahans in Auburn Hills on March 11th at 730pm, the night after the Detroit show. The event is to celebrate the new Spencer Bell CD, Brain. The CD will not be at the session, but songs from the CD will be performed. http://www.atcallahans.com/Entertainment/Brian-100-Monkeys-031110.jpg

The March issue for the online magazine, Portrait, is out and there are two articles that focus on Spencer Bell. The first is an interview with 100Monkeys and they talk about their involvement with the Spencer Bell Legacy. The second article is devoted to Spencer, the Legacy, and adrenal cancer. Check it out. http://www.portraitmagazine.net/

Tthe auctions for the Spencer Bell Legacy concert allow you to bring one friend to share the fun with if you have the winning bid. So it makes sense for you and your friend to pool your resources to have a higher bid

In additon to the auctions, there are items being raffled and you do NOT need to be present to win (go to http://www.asccnow.com/legacyconcert.html ). One of the items makes me really wish that I am not one of the organizers of this event.....someone will walk away with a signed 100Monkeys band portrait (note that all the bands will have a portrait including The Stevedores!) If you have heard of or been to a Bowling for Soup show, they donated a signed guitar. Simple Plan has donated autographed photos. How about this gem...a Kelly Rathbone one time only designed shirt signed by band. And be sure to check out the designs done for 100Monkeys by Punk You Chucks, because you can have your own unique Spencer Bell Legacy sneakers designed by them. punkyourchucks.com

Have a hard time waking up in the morning? Wish 100 Monkeys and Spencer Bell got more radio play?? Tune in Wednesday mornings with me @ wsinradio.org and listen to my college radio show temporarily entitled : "Wake up with me" I will be incorporating both Spencer and The Monkeys into my play list every week and will play them on air. I even take requests. I'll play other stuff too, and give you a bit of news/weather etc. Nothing but music and love here!!!! Additional information: the show is 9-10 wednesdays eastern standard time. But this website streams all over the world :) so anyone who is awake feel free to tune in!
