The last.fm group for all fans of The National.

The National are the Dessner brothers Bryce and Aaron, the Devendorf brothers Scott and Bryan, our gravel-voiced hero Matt Berninger and most of the time Australian string supremo Padma Newsome. And they are the best band you've never heard of.
Bryce and Padma are also in Clogs, who you've DEFINITELY never heard of.

To date they've released a self-titled debut, Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers, the Cherry Tree EP, Alligator, and Boxer, with no sign of stopping yet.

Here at Last.fm you can find rare demos and B-sides previously available freely on the americanmary.com site, as well as all the latest on the band's doings.
