    So what is your favorite Coltrane Album(including Live albums)?
    I´ll start things:

    with a top 5 isntead of pickin just one.

    Well, I love everything from Giant Steps/Coltrane Jazz onwards. My favourites are "A Love Supreme", "Ole!", "Coltrane!", "Crescent", "Meditations". The live album I admire the most is "Live at Birdland" but I haven't heard too many recordings of this kind. However, there was only one album I wasn't astonished by - it's "Coltrane" released by Prestige but it doesn't mean I don't like at all :) And I very glad that there is still so much for me to discover!

    pretty hard choice... every album that i know from him is like a world of it's own. it's hard to choose THE favourite one...
    but i find myself listening to Africa / Brass and Sun Ship a lot.
