http://www.last.fm/group/INTERLUDE+-+Music+and+Media+that%27s+starting+out I would appriciate it if anyone who likes unsigned bands, are in an unsigned band or even likes to help them out to join this group :) It's to gather the fans/musicians/people in media that need all the chances given to find gigs, promoters, photographers, music video directors etc without needing masses of experience/money/qualifications etc. It's for the unsigned (and signed!) and people starting out on their careers :) There is a proper forum/facebook/tumblr for this too but I thought I'd gain another set of members on a music website!

I'm glad to see that now, we can listen to full tracks again directly from unsigned and independent artists.Time to enjoy all the music and Don't forget to share this wonderful music with people you know and don't know. A good way to help the artists to be heard by as many as possible. I hope you all have a great weekend!

Now we are not averse. To some positive advertising within our groups. But I would advise great caution. On people asking for money. Without proof and receipt of any transactions made. Our groups are designed. To help in furthering the careers of great genuine music artists. Who would rather give than take for themselves. So none of the group's hosts. Would like to see them ripped off in any way at all. Especially by persons unknown. That have not consulted this group's hosts. And have not taken the time. To even add a face/avatar to their name. Before asking for 20% of what very little income. These artists do get. From revenue in music sales. Please can all further advertisements. Be run by at least one of this group's hosts first. Thank-You.

OK I'm sorry, but I feel this has to be said. If indeed you are an Unsigned artist. And you join. One,some or all of our groups. Please announce yourself to one of the group's leaders [names at the top right corner of this page]. Don't be shy because I'm not that's for sure. And we're all proud of the artists we know and love here. And I say this because. With all our groups not being monitored continually. And artists joining and not saying a word to any of us. Well it could take us weeks,months or even years. To get to hear you [yes I was joking on the years bit]. So please don't be quiet. Speak up and make yourself heard. Anyway I'm currently residing on the beach in Unsigned Christmas. So please come and join with us in our group there. Help yourself to a pina colada. And enjoy the eclectic mix of music that we have there. Don't forget to get your friends/listeners. To come vote for you too. Time is running out now. thanks and have a great Christmas all of you.

Hello to everyone:) Now it's just a little more than 50 days left to Christmas. The time just running away as it usually does when it's this time of the year. If there are any unsigned artists who are interested in joining the Unsigned Christmas project so don't hesitate. Its one own track or a cover of a Christmas carol to be included in the Unsigned Christmas album.. If so write to one of the leaders in the group. All the best to you all!

OK well here's a bit of news. This year will be the inaugural year of our 'Unsigned' group's World and Regional music Unsigned performers awards,WARM-UP.Well it is winter after all when they'll be held. I'm going to be starting some threads. If not now then very soon. First of all I need to think up the fairest set of rules that I can. For this and for all that get involved. And I hope we all can in this fun new event to LastFM. So please visit regularly. And get all your friends and any Unsigned music artists you know involved. However I do have to point out that this will be for members only. Otherwise all sorts of mayhem will ensue. So when the nominations are added by all our members. Please ensure that the artist you nominate. Is indeed a member somewhere across our 'Unsigned' network here. There are indeed 6 other groups in our network.. OK so please be patient with me. Don't let pity for the opposition stand in your way. I'm sure if they had a big enough fanbase. They would want to swamp the opposition too. The music business is unscrupulous by nature. And so in a dog eat dog world let's make our bark the loudest.
