    Skambankt at Blå Grotte

Another weekend trip to Norway, including two Skambankt concerts, yeah! And this time, it was actually a lot more than "only" concerts, but a lot of sightseeing, sitting in the sun and... driving. Argh.

OK, having a car in Norway is great, you actually get to where you want to go, and a lot easier than with public transport. But well, I kept wondering why Norwegian cars even have a fifth gear, I HATE roundabouts (especially 2-lane roundabouts, and even more especially roundabouts where you can't tell if it's 1 or 2 lanes...), and you probably have to be Norwegian to not mind throwing your money out of the window all the time. Literally. (But okay, it's better than spending an hour in Tønsberg checking about all gas stations there to find a way to pay the f*%$ing toll...)

Anyway. I made it into Oslo without problems, picked up Linda, and we went on our way discovering Østfold. …

    So here's how it works:
Open your choice of music player [iTunes, Limewire, Kazaa, etc.] and put it on SHUFFLE.
    Press play.
For every question type the song that's on.
And when you go to a new question press the next button.
    No cheating.

  • The concertjunkie survey!

    20 mars 2007, 22h40m par lurk

Okay. I don't do those survey things. Never. A matter of principle.

But well, if someone sends me a concertjunkie-survey, I don't really have a choice, or do I? And at least I can brag a bit like that. =;-)

    So here we go:

What was the last concert you attended?
    El*ke in Stuttgart
Had seen them at a festival once and liked them, but didn't really know any songs. But the concert was really great! Even though I was actually sitting at the side, as I was just too tired to get up...

    How many people were there?
    Not many. Maybe a hundred?

What bands have you seen in concert the most, and how many times?
    Kaizers Orchestra: 64x
    Die Ärzte: 45x
    The Busters: 29x
Actually, there's 10 different bands I've seen 10 or more times... check the list here.

Do you have any set lists? From what bands?
I mostly have photos of setlists, but I also have a few "real" ones. Of Skambankt and Kaizers Orchestra, and I think one of Die Schröders as well, but I don't remember where I put that...
  • By:Larm 2007

  • Music to look out for in MMVII

    10 jan. 2007, 20h03m par Bastard1

Ayup, it's a new year, and with nothing but a FEW great releases within music.

    Skambankt - Eliksir
Geoff Berner - The Wedding Dance of the Widow Bride
Zahl - Nice for a Change
    Sondre Lerche - Phantom Punch
    Cloroform - Clean
Hock your Britney Spears albums, burn your Fergie albums and condemn your Panic! At the Disco records to eternal damnation! Get these NOW! Or you are officially bland in musical taste, or living in some place where these records will not be released.

    Peace be with ya'll.
