was at their concert in Berlin. Perfection. fat sound, big voice(s). Worth to be there every second. Great respect to Susan: in most of the songs not only that incredible voice - playing leadguitar! Concert ended with "The Storm" as kind of final blowoff - can´t get the riff out my head since that!
I wouldn't exactly call Revelator a "blues album", but it sure is awesome anyway. And Everybody's Talkin' is probably even better! Not only some of the best tracks on the previous on get terrific longer live versions, but the covers selection is one of the most impressive ever. I especially love how they master Darling Be Home Soon and the title track, two masterpieces by 2 of the most brilliant and underrated singer-songwriters the US ever had: John Sebastian and Fred Neil.
I'm speechless, this album is simply a masterpiece. And lucky me I'm seein' this guys live in Brazil next month!
A question for you who had already seen their concert: Are they playin' the entire album?
Saw them in Pittsburgh two days ago - what a show!!! An awesome album, and awesome live, too!! Derek and Susan don't hog the spotlight - they are surrounded by top-notch musicians who are each given a chance to shine.
