@Goblim Grammar and word usage has a place in everything if he would have said "we do not know what was intended" then said "We are not what was intended" your comment would have merit. However he said the opposite which makes complete sense, when you objectively pause and reflect about a subject which is what he is doing it makes perfect sense try this: "We are not what was intended" does anyone even know what was intended” make sense now? Because it's obvious to me that he understands the complexity of the English language better than you do, I would not comment on something like this unless you are sure. Cheers mate, happy listening.
I'm not sure about it. This what you call of lack of logic may be called of poetic license. Your interpretation it's not wrong at all but certainly is not the only one possible. Try to use a little bit of imagination, the most of music lyrics don't fit in a literal meaning.
Illogical lyrics. "We are not what was intended, we do not know what was intended" how can you say that if you don't know? Leave out the lyrics next time or steal them from a poet or something (like Blood Axis often does), because you obviously don't know how to write. Piano music is good though. :3
