I've just listened to this for the first time. It's a terrible album. It sounds so uninspired and lazy after TB and TB II which were both superb. I'd be very surprised if he's actually pleased with it!
I have the DVD with the live concert in London - the music is even better than on the CD, and it is absolutely fascinating to watch how the musicians all LIVE, no ARE, the music, and how the audience responds - in spite of the pouring rain. Big Ben's joining bells at the end set your hair on fire.
Must have watched it over 20 times now, and never grow tired of it. An absolute must for anyone who's into TB III :)
My favourite album of his, just as good as TB II... little bit of everything but always in his fantastic style. Outcast is an amazing song for guitars, Serpent Dream has a underlying Spanish feel, & Top of the Morning has such a lovely piano...
