  • Never done before or ever after.
  • It's fun to compare this with Arthur Honegger's Pacific 231, which, coincidentally, I heard just before this one. Two different realizations of trains written in different genres about the same time (circa the 1920s).
  • It's like an orgasm. Of course Oscar Peterson is like lace, preliminaries so to say
  • +++ boogie woogie - super +++
  • i can make my kazoo sound like a lawn mower
  • At the end, Meade Lux Lewis hated this piece.. which is why he played it faster and faster :)
  • boogie woooooooooooooooooooooogie
  • la cancion que me inicio en el rock and roll un muy buen musico .. (Y)!
  • Apart from being a sucker for Boogie Woogie, I'm also a sucker for blues about trains. How much greater bliss can I find than with "Honky Tonk Train Blues"?! (Of course, I know Lewis is no Oscar Peterson. Still fun though)
