18 oct. 2005, 12h48m par simulacra...is the motto of Mark Geary's album Ghosts. i've bought it few days ago, more by chance - i haven't heard any of his earlier albums before. i don't do such a thing often - i'm not so rich to buy any album which looks promising. but sometimes i do.
well... i thought the album could be interesting also for some of my friends, especially to those who like The Frames as me (Glen Hansard appears on this album, too). so i told them and gave them one track to try.
you know... i'm such a try-and-buy pirate, or not a proper pirate. a substantial part of my music files are tracks grabbed from purchased CDs (...those silver discs feel better in a stand and don't like constant travelling much... and it's easier for me like this, too). but of course - i'm quite familiar with p2p networks, and, when i'm interested in some artist, i just go and try. if i like it really, i go and buy it (i find it just fair to pay to people who i respect for their work). if i don't like the music... bye, there's no spare space on my disc for a crap. …
