I got interested in punk when I was 16 or 17 and they were one of the groups I totally gravitated toward.
2. What was the first song you ever heard by 22? Ramones
Either "I Wanna Be Sedated" or "Blitzkrieg Bop," both of which were used in "Vacation" movies if I'm not mistaken.
3. What’s your favourite lyric by 33? Johannes Brahms
He was a Romantic composer who didn't write operas or tone/symphonic poems. He wrote some songs, though, including the "Four Serious Songs" piece. The lyrics of those are taken from Bible verses. Here's my favorite of those, Ecclesiastes 3:19:
For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts,
as the one dieth, so dieth the other;
yea, they have all one breath;
so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast:
for all is vanity.
4. What is your favourite album by 49? Slayer
5. How many albums by 13 do you own? Pixies

Elliott Smith (1969-2003) Presumed suicide. Smith died from two stab wounds to the chest. According to girlfriend Jennifer Chiba—with whom he was sharing an apartment at the time—the two were arguing, and she locked herself in the bathroom to take a shower. Chiba heard him scream, and upon opening the door, saw Smith standing with a knife in his chest. She pulled the knife out, after which he collapsed and she called 911. Smith died in the hospital. While Smith's death was originally reported as a suicide, the official autopsy report left open the question of possible homicide. The coroner's report revealed that no traces of illegal substances or alcohol were found in his system at the time of his death, but did find prescribed levels of antidepressant and attention-deficit-hyperactivity-disorder medications in his system, including Clonazepam, Mirtazapine, Atomoxetine and Amphetamine. …

Here's the debut solo album of multi-instrumentalist Joe. His compositions are inspired by various music styles ranging from rock, grunge, metal and jazz, including bands like Deftones, Korn, Soundgarden, Nirvana, but also great instrumentalists such as Jimi Hendrix, Jackie McLean, Theloniuos Monk, John Coltrane or Miles Davis. Some of you may catch a few melodic and vocal lines comparable to The Young Gods' tunes as well. This interesting mix results in music that by no means makes for easy-listening, but remains original and intriguing, despite the multitude of influences.
The material has undoubtedly been written for vocals and moods, actually one specific mood I'll elaborate below on. The instrumental parts played on drums…

Oh and if I had to be pressed: I'd say that Jefre Cantu-Ledesma and Viet Cong each made very close calls for best album of the month.
