  • @TheOnlyMAD: Avalon, from the newest album. I think it's their best song since 1999 and Armageddon! It's just breathtaking! Other than that, well... not really, I guess. I don't think Gamma Ray's point has ever been about being unique, though (if you don't count, like, the "founding" of power metal and staying with that style unique enough. Then again there was stuff like Stormwitch already so depends where you draw the line). Like many bands, they're more about doing pretty much the same thing all over again, with many hats-off to bands like Maiden, Priest, Queen, Sweet... in many of their songs in the process. They're more or less a one-trick pony, but I for one very much like that pony's tricks! :> You might also like to look forward to a new album where there will likely be two vocalists, judging from their recent live shows.
  • So has this band written one original song in the last 5 years? I'm genuinely curious, if they have, I'd like to listen to it.
  • Miss this guys, doesnt exist on Spotify.
  • We need your help guys to bring back old
  • The last thing Gamma Ray needs is Kiske on vocals, Kai's voice is part of the appeal of the group. [2]
