Instantly drawn to this item for its 'typical' post-grunge-y artwork, it got added to the pile. I was right it is what i had expected ^^.
Fono, for those who are unfamiliar (me) are a British christian-rock band from London. I'm usually put off by the term 'christian rock' ever since I listened to Falling Up on a Tooth & Nail compilation, in which I felt as if I was being "preached" too. So a bit wary, I gave this a go hoping it to be similar to my other favorite cRock bands Emeryand Anberlin*.
It turned out as a so-so record for me. It passed my first test of not preaching to me about the ways of God or Jesus Christ, and focused around typical mainstream, generic Post-Grunge. Although maybe not as 'rough and ready' post-grunge as say Trapt, Fono opt for a slightly more accessible and pop sound (they sport the britpop tag on Last.fm). …
