best song for paul simon to commit suicide to HA! Yep, pure Simon folks. If you've never listened to much Simon, you should check out his self titled album. Just crazy good. You'll hear why.
So depressing yet so beautiful.
This song makes me want to cry, it's so beautiful
Yeah, I was thinking of Simon & Garfunkel like Lowbacca down there.
I never knew about Carl Sagan being an inspiration. Explains why I like this so much!
cool song to trip to
this song put on many questions that needs to be answered

So powerful live.. thought I was going to burst into tears. * I did burst into tears.
Great song. Surprised that no one has mentioned the very obvious Paul Simon influence here.

I may be blaspheming here - but his voice seems better stripped of the reverb...
why this freighted part of me thats fated to pretend? favorite fleet foxes song. its fucking beautiful
We umans cannot fully appreciate this track.
well this is pleasant.
these welling tears bear no reflection of my manliness
Like with the track "Sun Giant" this reminds me of my mother singing me to sleep when I was young - such a gentle and tender melody with an even more fragile and sweet voice with utterly beautiful lyrics.
Such a great song, I like the fact there's no reverb - brings out the subtlety of his voice more. love it.
the silence in the background makes this incredible. only a faint strum of the guitar to accompany the hushed vocals.. eargasm.
caught myself thing like someone is playing guitar in my room.
so incredibly beautiful
why is the earth movin' 'round the sun?
this is so pretty
finally a studio version... !
didn't the humming part use to have lyrics?
The album version would've been nicer, I reckon, had reverberation been added to it. Robin and reverb just work so well together. It's a lovely song, regardless.
