Kind of hard to listen all the way through, but the songs themselves are great, much like Hourcast's State of Disgrace. Sucks when rigid song structures do that to an otherwise great album. Overburdened, however, is one of their best works.
The Sickness is a good album. It was a great debut. Ten Thousand Fists, and Indestructible are my favorite Disturbed albums. The "Land Of Confusion" cover is awesome. They did a great arrangement of it. I still love the original. "Sons Of Plunder," "Sacred Lie," "Pain Redefined," "Avarice (one of the heaviest songs Disturbed has written)", and "Guarded" are awesome as well. I also respect the way Disturbed pushed their demo tapes at national, and local shows when they were coming out. The band was around for three years before I heard of them. I knew after listening to a three, or four song demo from them that they were going to get signed. They also were strong with merchandising. They even had Disturbed condoms!!!!
