Does anyone still owns any of lost tracks, demos and stuff?? Im looking for "Pick Up the Pieces", "So Much to Say", etc.
I've heard there is a "Sometimes" demo too!
Please, if someone has these songs, please contact me
It's a shame that their best stuff isn't even on the Lines in my Face album.
"Dumping Ship" and "Lines in my Face" (the hip-hop track) are on the Lines in my Face E.P. and they're amazing. "If You Ever Run" on This And of That is also fantastic and more underrated than the entire LIMF album. Mike Busse is such a talented hip-hop lyricist.
Band is currently on hiatus: "Chronic Future has stopped updating their official Myspace page and no information on the band is available on their previous record label's official website. No band activity has taken place since the July 21, 2009 post about Chronic Future merchandise on their official Myspace page. However, a personal email from guitarist Ben Collins explains that the band members have all moved to New York City and that the Chronic Future project "isn't over yet"."
Lilmatzah: "lines in my face was the first album i ever bought ... i don't care much for their "new" sound. LIMF was mint and its a shame they don't still make records like that " --- This. Though I do really like the demos of the songs on the Modern Art EP that they released with their older sound.
This has got to be one onf the most creative bands I've heard. I love each album's unique style and can go to each one for different moods. My favorite album has got to be "This and of That" Some of those songs are like nothing i've ever heard. AND THE LYRICS!? Absolute Poetry delivered in every way. Please listen to "Temper Anthem" - It has a Message, it has an incredibly unique attitude, and the beat is so fine and here and there and with some of this and of that. Listen to "Flight of the Birds" - Very abstract, took me a while to get into but i love this one, The way its put together is something else. After you listen to it enough it turns to ear candy. "Insects" - Great message layed out in whisper. Uses an interesting variety of little sounds to make it sound big. I also Like "The Summer of 1980" - The beat and producing in this song is really creative.
lines in my face was the first album i ever bought, along with the team america soundtrack lol. i don't care much for their "new" sound. LIMF was mint and its a shame they don't still make records like that
