  • George will almost be 50 if they release an album in 2018. After that, only a decade to go until death metal heroes start routinely getting seniors discounts. I wonder what happens to death metal vocalists when their voice becomes hoarse with age? A new death metal vocal style will emerge? Maybe they'll all sound like Lord Worm on "Once Was Not"? CENTURIES OF TORMENT! I try to think of a band that shows the same momentum across the years as Cannibal, and it's pretty hard. It's kinda blowing my mind that the band is still making such great music that shows no signs of letting up. Huge props to all the songwriters in Cannibal for not letting the music stagnate. I hope Paul's arms and George's throat has another decade left.
  • Yup! I look forward to their next album. For now, I'll keep on listening to A Skeletal Domain and their other albums.
  • but hey, it's not like if they didn't release a lot of good album the past decade ;-)
  • You're right. I'm pretty sure it'll be released in 2017 or 2018.
  • They will tour in europe with krisiun this year, maybe they will record it after but even in this case it will not be released before 2017
  • I wonder if their new album will be released in 2017, 2018 or even this year...
  • Cannibal Corpse & Obituary are gonna be so awesome touring together!
  • Oh my I'm a leftie, dressed in black, pot smoker, long haired and LGBT's right supporter metalhead and you give me a good laugh thanks you very much sir have a nice day.
  • And "dressing normal" is a gimmick in itself. The only difference is you're pandering to people with a favorable bias towards that clothing style rather than those who have a favorable bias towards typical Metalhead choices of clothing. There's actually no difference. What's considered "regular everyday" appearance is still a result of social happenings in previous eras. Just because Metal fashion's history is shorter doesn't mean it's any different of a concept. Average society and Metal culture came to be in the same way and are the same thing. One's just smaller.
  • Although I find it odd how people tend to define other people's personalities based on music taste more than they do other forms of media. You see so many people say things like "That music is for sheep" or "You'll grow out of that music" but you almost never hear "You'll grow out of that movie director" or "That painter is for sheep" which seems inconsistent. Anyone with an actual sense of individuality and a lack of insecurity goes to shows for the music. It's not relevant if everyone else who enjoys it is a sheep because you're not them. You can enjoy sheep media for truly individual reasons. It's simply a coincidence. Although it's important to kick the confines of established logic to the curb in order to truly see it that way.
