I wish I understood what direction this band is going in. I intentionally didn't watch their set at scion rock fest because I expected it to be a noise performance, but that wasn't the case. I then became under the impression that the project was going back to a more MITB sound and now I see this footage of Bastard Noise performing this year and it's back to being strictly noise/power electronics.

Biotek-Ocean: If you are looking for more powerviolence Bastard Noise, go with the two albums below as well as The Red List split with The Endless Blockade, and check out Man Is The Bastard, their band before Bastard Noise. If you want to hear the noise/power electronics stuff, though, which is better in my opinion, check out Rogue Astronaut, Descent To Mimas, and BN Hails The Finnish Sound Masters. It's all worth looking into, though, even if you were to just start from a random place you can't go wrong.
Faunny thing, 'cause i love that they started doing MITB shit again. Noise just doesn't fit my taste, but i love powerviolence style of MITB and bastard noise after Rogue Astronaut. Skulldozer is brilliat for me.
True, but it certainly helps to be. I guess the Japanese CD could have been uploaded by now. I liked it alright, but I personally prefer they're more straight noise releases. Rogue Astronaut to me was something that I've never heard before in noise, which is pretty rare, and so I'm a bit bitter that they stopped doing noise and started doing MITB immediately after.
ibreatheoxygen - Check out the recent split with Actuary, it should satisfy your noise cravings! It's up on Grindcore Karaoke. Totally agreed on Skulldozer's awesomeness, intense as always but in such a crazy way
Skulldozer is massive. I like that they've found a good way to combine their noise/PE side with the powerviolence they've started doing again. Still, I'd like to hear more straight noise/PE work coming out of them lately, but hey, can't complain since the quality of their recent work is still excellent.
Not sure how but I somehow fell asleep for a few minutes somewhere in the middle of Rogue Astronaut and when I awoke I was in the most insane realm of sound I've ever been in. Can't wait to see them at Maryland Deathfest!
