Nah... I think it says that Radiohead was listened to by 5 people in the group this week... Nine Inch Nails by 4 people of this group... and so on and so forth. That being said... 4 for Hellogoodbye?! I am ashamed to be in this group now :(

Are the track counts average listens/person? There is no way that no artist got more than 5 total listens.

This group needs more Pineapple Thief, methinks.

I never said illegal was a bad thing :P Maybe you might want to link to an album's last.fm page on musicpost so that people can listen to it here as well as get more information. The bring attention to whoever part is still the primary goal, and if you think LJ is the best way to do that, more power to you.

hi, i made a post just for you, steve!

  • violentlyjoyous

Isn't it simpler to do that with last.fm's recommendation feature? Then you don't have to upload the music, those interested can just play it directly (and legally).

it's supposed to be more of something you keep up with on a regular basis. Any link over a month old has likely expired, anyway. Not for downloading (we've all got P2P services) but to recommend new stuff that others normally wouldn't run into.

I think I'd rather click on a topic named Download so-and-so's Album than to wade through livejournal posts indexed by date just to see what might be available.

  • erbylikewhoa

why not just use musicpost? you just have to join to post there!

    9 mars 2007 Répondre
  • Lardlad

I can post links to full albums (all RIAA-safe) in a forum topic here if anybody would like. Livejournal intimidates me :(

  • erbylikewhoa

also whoever's not in musicpost, you clearly have to join LiveJournal and get on there.
