Make the Music Business Listen!

  • Make the Music Business Listen!

The last.fm iPhone application is only available in a limited number of countries, due to licensing restrictions by the record labels.

We are a lot of music lovers that can't understand why the music business is still trying to stop the evolution of music distribution.

I'm a paying subscriber on last.fm and I wan't the last.fm iPhone application to be available NOW, in my country.
It is obvious that we have to make as much noise about this to get those Music Bosses in their ivory towers to listen.

I want to listen to streaming music and I am willing to pay for the subscription. Sometimes I want to buy one or two songs that I really love, but I'm not going to do that, when the music business keeps acting so stupid!

The music business have to deliver the music to the customers the way they want it. If not... piracy will live on!

If we want to make MUCH NOISE against all these stupid licensing restrictions we perhaps need something similar to this:

    http://www.soundcopyright.eu/petition
    http://www.micropoll.com/akira/mpview/574101-157418

But it should be worked out very well before (!) collecting votes, because this would be very decisive for any success or unsuccess of such a public poll.
