iTunes 7.2

Does someone know why iScrobbler doesn't work with iTunes 7.2 anymore?

I installed iTunes 7.2.0.34 2 days ago.
First I thought "ok, then maybe you need to newly install iScrobbler". But now after 4 new installations I'm sure: iTunes 7.2 doesn't recognize iScrobbler 1.1.0.

Does someone know a remedy?
jscrob2 is of no use for me, as I use a German iTunes version...

Mine is out as well. I thought the same thing as SchwesterS and tried re-installing the plugin. Then I gave up and just switched back to Winamp.

I installed iTunes 7.2 at work, gave up on trying and denied the upgrade at home...lucky me, I can at least submit there... I'm gonna go find me an older version of iTunes now...

thats it, I'm going to MyStands or Virb. I give up. And I REFUSE to install the whole LastFM suite, which btw no-one asked us users if we wanted, we were just forced to use. The iTunes plugin was perfect.

last.fm plugin = the worst

why would i want to switch music players in order to submit my tracks to last.fm. what happened to the original plain old audioscrobbler plugin that i could install in itunes. I have broken down and installed iSproggler but i hate that it sits in my tray.

Sigh. Mine disappeared too. Time to try jscrobbler on 7.2

iSproggler might be good for you guys but I have alot of problems with it (ie. it doesn't start up even when manually launched; and it doesn't connect) but if you have a simple Windows interface and not bothered with corporate lan/proxies and so on, it might be worth a look;

I'm glad I'm not alone on this.

Seems a bit of a pain in the arse not having a decent solution yet though. I've tried iSproggler too but that doesn't seem to working neither.

Just when I was getting into iTunes too...

Upgrading to iTunes 7.3 does not fix it either.

is there any downloadlink to the 7.1 version of itunes? apple seems to provide only the newest version.

I'm using itunes 7.3.0.54 with Last.fm with itunes plugin 2.0.11.0 and I can't submit anything from my ipod. Anyone else got the same set up?

iSproggler sucks. It's a resource hog and because it's independent from the iTunes player I always forget to turn it on. I'm gonna downgrade to iTunes 7.1

Thanks xurble - iscrobbler is an excellent program and great for those of us who've love the whole scrobbling thing but don't want or need the bloat of the last.fm plugin. Your work is greatly appreciated and will be even more so if you can update the plugin to make it work with the new versions of itunes!

Anyone who needs to revert to itunes 7.1.1 in the meantime try oldapps or oldversion.
