    Fugazi.

My enemies will find you and kill you to get to me, because secret identities are for the safety of you, not me.

Dude, pavement is ranked number three on your top artists list.

Although, I actually agree with you there; I've never had much use for Stephen Malkmus. Slanted & Enchanted is a halfway decent album, but I don't get why people make such a big deal over it. The rest of the artists you listed are worthy of praise.

I have seen concerts of/own records by all of the artists I listed. Just because I like them and think they're good, or indeed great doesn't stop the fact that they are still attended unnecessary and even irrational attention.

Oh, apart from Explosions In The Sky. I don't own any of their records, have never seen them live, and they're absolutely terrible.

  • I have to cop out and agree with that Nirvana comment.

This will come off as totally assly of me.
Ooooh. They played BAR CHORDS. Now, I'm a guitarist, and most diehard Nirvana fans would challenge me on my musical knowledge. "You don't understand."

I think I can get my mind around Cobain's guitar style. Now, Gilmour's... I would love to pick his brain.

    Finally.

"Once a lumberjack was about to chop down a tree, when he noticed a heart carved on it, with two names inside. Putting away his axe, he sawed down the tree instead. The point of that story escapes me, although six months later the lumberjack was fined for teaching a dwarf Roman numerals." -Woody Allen

You're right, everything is cool till somebody else likes it then it's overrated.

I'll never let other people influence what I like.

I disagree. What exactly are they doing that's so great? Or even original, for that matter?
Then again, it's not just Lamb of God. I think ALL metalcore sucks.
