Try installing flyscreens...then you'll be insect-free and have more fresh air than you can poke a stick at.

I do that every summer, I'm just waiting for a month, until mosquitoes really kick in.

OT: So I was playing Skyrim, doing a quest called "The Breaking Dawn" where you help kill a necromancer for deadric prince Meridia. Bitch has the tendency to elevate you miles up when talking to you, and she did just that after I killed him. The only bad thing is that the fall ended up killing me after I completed the quest.

I did that quest and that never happened to me. Skyrim is as amazing as is it cancer-ridden. If most games were as broken as the sort of stuff Bethesda put out you'd stop playing them wouldn't you. Yet I can't stop. Skyrim keeps luring me in with its siren song of nerdy fulfilment.

Didn't know they were (don't really care either). Two dumbasses that deserve each other.....that was my first thought.

Yeah, Oblivion was infested with bugs. Some were minor and actually humorous (like NPC walking around with an arrow lodged to his head), while others were annoying, but like Skyrim, it makes up with massive content of the game, so I guess bugs and glitches are inevitable..

Fallout is the same. No matter how hard it tries to break my spirit with glitches, I just won't let it happen because the game is so freaking good. ...and it's also better than either Oblivion or Skyrim. Jus' sayin'.

Fallout 3 was fucking awesome, but damn too short. New Vegas however I don't really like.

  • I'm actually playing New Vegas at the moment. It's not as bad as I remember it being.

Maybe I'll give it another try someday, but it's not happening anytime soon, since I'm still playing Skyrim, and once Diablo 3 comes out, what I have left of my social life with be no more.

  • Hell, some day I'll also have Skyrim, but first I need to buy a new pc (bought my recent one on July the 26th 2007 and still XP as the system). But until this happens - although I really do have more than enogh money atm - I'll still keep on playing Morrowind. Or I just play via emulators.

Today nothing really pisses me off except of the fact that 22-23°C already was too warm for me at work.

  • I HATE it when I discover a wicked band with awesome songs, then one of the songs get played on the radio and all of sudden EVERYONE loves them for only 1 song -_-

Happens way too much lately, screw the commercialisation.

    Very interesting.

I'll assume then that you started listening to Gotye before "Somebody That I Used to Know" became BIG rather than the other way around?

Sometimes it is that one song that gets people listening to all the other stuff an artist has released and then people discover there is more.

Surely you can't begrudge a "wicked" band some success, even if it is only through one song?

Also it is bit unfair to bag people for just liking one song. Sometimes that 1 song strikes a chord with a lot of people, like Gotye for example. Sometimes it is just one song that is any good, they aren't called 1-Hit Wonders for no reason.

So I gather you have never just liked 1 song from an artist?
