    So I interpreted the forum guidelines such that I'm pretty sure it's okay for me to do this, but my apologies if I'm out of line, do not hesitate to remove, etc:

    I'm a student at UMSI and I'd like to hear from any and all Spotify or Rdio (or both!) users about their use of these streaming subscription services. I tried to keep my questions simple and low-effort to answer.

  • I worked for a mobile phone company, we had a deal with free premium Spotify subscription as well as hardware integration. Never took off. Spotify were looking to tap into the mobile market.

  • Huh. I got into Rdio before Spotify was available in the US and found that I still prefer its interface over Spotify's. Maybe I should use one of these "free premium for a month!" teasers to compare the mobile apps...
