I'm using SlimServer 6.5b1. I've just installed the latest version of the plugin, the one compatible with SlimServer 6.5b1. I have hundreds of CDs archived as FLAC or MP3 files, with the correct tags. I've been using SlimServer for months, but this is the first time I use Last.fm.
Anyway, for my first test, I tried to listen to an album called "8" by a group called "Madhouse". A few minutes later, my Last.fm accoung was updated, but the artist was wrong. It showed a group called "Mad'House" instead of "Madhouse". These two groups are definitely different. What's going wrong and what can I do about it?

P.S. The tags for that album are correct, of course. SlimServer is showing "Madhouse" as the artist, not "Mad'House".
There are some artists that get changed by LastFM after you've submitted them - used to be a whole system for voting on and moderating other people's tags and I think it's a leftover from that.
Head over to the Web Site Support forum, and take a look at the known issues sticky. There's an entry:
Two bands share the same name/Bad old moderations causing artists to be merged when they shouldn't be - This cannot be fixed until after the new moderation system is implemented. For now, you just have to live with it.
That would be the forum to report this particular case; but given that it's a known problem, I doubt the admins will be able to fix it up :(
