Plugin has stopped playing

Hi There
i have had the slimscrobbler installed and all has been fine until a few weeks ago. Now when i try to access any of my radio stations the player just keeps telling me it's waiting on lastfm. Nothing plays! I am using a mac and I reinstalled the plugin in the users/library/caches/squeezecenter/installed plugins/plugins but to no avail.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I ran into (what I expect is) the same issue: it seems LastFM started using HTTP redirect and the plugin wasn't expecting that.

I uploaded a patch that fixes the issue for me at https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=3179703&group_id=105780&atid=642338
