iTunes 10.4: iPod/iPhone scrobbling not working

After the update to iTunes 10.4 and Mac OS X Lion, the Last.fm client does not open with iTunes, nor does it scrobble tracks played on an iPod or iPhone.

Perhaps a fix is in order? :)

Same problem, even before upgrading to Lion

I am still running snow leopard and have just downloaded the new version of iTunes (10.4). I am experiencing the same problems as the above poster. Can someone please address this???

Same problem

I have experienced this as well since I downloaded iTunes 10.4. I'm still running Snow Leopard.

Same issue

I have OSX 10.7 Lion and ITunes 10.4 and it's not scribbling my plays from my iPhone and iPods

Ditto

Same here, updated itunes and now does not scrobble from ipod. Clear the associations and it doesnt sync to ipods anymore, no more scrobbling. Fix is in order for sure!!

Same here, and no autolaunch of Scrobbler, iTunes 10.4 , Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8

Last night I had an iTunes 10.4 update as well and nothing from iPhone or iPod scrobbles anymore. No problems when playing from my iTunes directly.

I also have recently upgraded to OS X 10.7 Lion and iTunes 10.4 and now the Scrobbler has stopped scrobbling my plays from my iPod or iPhone. (Scrobbles fine when just playing from iTunes.) I hope Last.fm puts out a fix soon! I sorta hate losing my scrobbles this way!

I saw this coming, that's why I'm holding with iTunes 10.3.1 and OS X Snow Leopard.

The iPod not scrobbling problem is around for awhile already...

What are you going to do with your last 40 seconds?

Yup, same here.

Sucks as I finally put in a new car deck this week that can connect to my iPhone. Was hoping to start racking up the scrobbles that way. Guess I'll have to wait until a fix comes. :(

I can scrobble music playing on itunes from my computer, but I can't scrobble the songs played from my iPod. I updated to iTunes 10.4. I regret.
