    Hey guys,
    I've been using the Last.fm scrobbler for quite a while now without any problems, but it suddenly stopped scrobbling. It just doesn't show on the Now Playing tab, neither on my profile.

    I have the newest version of iTunes, I've enabled scrobbling, I've downloaded the plugin, I've checked if it's in the right map, I've tried if it scrobbles with Media Player (= no), I've checked all the things that were on the main topic, but it stil doesn't work.

    I have uninstalled iTunes and Last.fm, and rebooted my laptop quite a few times.

    Also, I don't know if this can be a cause, but I've recently downloaded the Android app, I don't know exactly if it stopped working since then, but it was around that time.

  • Change your password on the site. Don't forget to change it later in the Last.fm Scrobbler. If this does not help, change your password. If this does not help, go to folder where you installed the Last.fm Scrobbler (usually C:\Program Files\Last.fm). Find file Cleaner.exe and run it. This program will reset your settings from the Last.fm Scrobbler. Then, run the Last.fm Scrobbler. Enter your user data. Then, download plugin for your media player. Turn off the Last.fm Scrobbler and next run your media player.

  • i'm using a macbook pro and i just noticed my music hasn't been scrobbling for the last month and a half or so. i tried changing my password and still nothing :\

  • @ ziomek alright, it's all fine :D i've found the problem and now I know that the newest version of wmp sometimes going crazy. Thank's anyway.

  • Well, I have a similar situation. I listen to most of my music from iTunes and my Last.fm scrobbler window seems to read all the current songs I'm playing from iTunes, but it doesn't publish or update anything on my last.fm profile.

    The last things that were scrobbled onto my last.fm profile were from a brief trial with XBox's last.fm app, so I wonder if that has anything to do with it...


    Edit: Nevermind. Got it. Password change helped. ;P
