Iphone and Ipod, how do I avoid syncing the iPod?

I have an iPhone which I want Last.fm to sync. My daughter has an iTouch which I DO NOT want to sync. Is there a way to tell the Last.fm client to not sync the iTouch?

Thanks for the tips. Was hoping to not have to shut it down, but that's easy enough I guess.
