How does one play a playlist?

  • How does one play a playlist?

Has there been any movement on playing a playlist? The last advice I saw said, "Type the following into your browser, and it will open the playlist in the client: lastfm://user name/playlist."

    This does not work.

I also saw a posting that had a number instead of the user name, but that number seems to be user-specific. How do I find MY number?

this will launch your playlist in the client:

    lastfm://user/Calidris1/2265036

this is your playlist on the site:

hmm... actually i'm not hearing your playlist, I'm hearing the previous radio station I was tuned to (which smells like a bug somewhere). I guess I got the lastfm: url format wrong.... but now you know how to get the playlist id. :)

    right... this is it:

    lastfm://playlist/2265036

but it plays 30-second previews, not full-tracks (known problem).
