LastFMHelper prevents MacBook from falling asleep (Hibernation)

  • LastFMHelper prevents MacBook from falling asleep (Hibernation)

The process LastFMHelper prevents my MacBook from falling asleep (Hibernation). I have installed the latest version of the client-software (1.3.1.1). When I kill the process the laptop fall asleep.

I'm not the only person noticing that (german board): http://www.apfeltalk.de/forum/automatischer-ruhezustand-mehr-t91221.html#post891668

Is there a dialog or something that pops up?

  • No, just the process. When I startup MacOSX and do nothing (don't start any program), the MacBook doesn't fall asleep. When I kill the process LastFMHelper, the MacBook fall asleep.

  • I had a similar problem, except I couldn't shut down my computer. I got rid of it and my problem was solved. I just looked for a new running process and that was it.
