Last.fm doesn't recognize Foobar anymore

  • Last.fm doesn't recognize Foobar anymore

A few days ago it was working perfectly fine, but today it stopped working. Not only did it stop scrobbling, it also stopped showing the artist information etc.
I'm not getting any errors. I've tried everything but nothing worked. I'm using Windows 7 and I've updated Foobar and Last.fm to the latest versions.

Is there something else I can do?

    yes it does.
you just need to manually browse to the foobar exe when installing plugin.
    un/install.

  • Tried re-installing again, didn't work.

you're doing something wrong then I'm afraid.

you reinstalled the plugin the way I said?

and it simply doesn't recognise you playing anything?

    which version of foobar?
    which version of lfm?
plugin definitely installed? (check in components)

  • Foobar version 1.1.10
    Last.fm version 1.5.4.27091
In components it says I have version 2.3.1, so yes, I have it installed.

do you definitely have scrobbling enabled in the client?

  • Of course. It was perfectly fine and then it randomly stopped working.

but it works fine. if the full uninstall/reinstall didn't do anything then it most likely has stopped working due to you for some reason.

shouldn't make any difference but try a foobar beta

had the same issue @foobar 1.11 ... this one works for me http://www.lastfm.de/forum/85158/_/676764/1#f15141450

(+ choosing foobar 0.94 from last.fm plugin installation rather than 0.9)

that has "always" been the method.
