    Not alone

Daniel, this seems to be a very, very common problem, for which I haven't seen a reliable answer. I haven't been able to scrobble —or, to be exact, not even to complete installation — from my campus computer for ages. I haven't seen advice on (for instance) ports to try/change; I haven't seen clarification on what else might be affecting my login attempts.

I have to suspect that Last.fm has just given up on people who can't log in — which seems odd, since the web teems with examples of this glitch.

There is no language in our lungs. . . .
  • You're not downright saying it, but I gather that you're not actually behind a proxy?

Check this FAQ, and let us know if it helps: The Scrobbler asks me for my proxy settings, but I’m not behind a proxy? (Or don’t even know what this is?)
Of course it's hard to offer further specific assistance, as it all depends on the software that you have installed.
