Scrobbling records from one computer, but not another?

  • Scrobbling records from one computer, but not another?

I installed Last.fm on my two computers yesterday. On my Windows XP computer, it looked at my play history and uploaded it to Last.fm, so the play count of my songs was equivalent to that of my iTunes.

However, on my Mac computer, it didn't ask this. It just linked to my account. Everything is scrobbling correctly, but I'm curious as to why it didn't ask me for that on my Mac, and if there's any way to get it to do so (since that's the one with more in my library and more plays, so the suggestions and everything could be more accurate).

I appear to be running 1.5.4.28012 on Mac OS 10.7.1 with iTunes 10.4.1, if that helps at all.

I searched the FAQ and stickies before this, so apologies if I've missed something!

The answer's in this: Can I import all my previous plays from my media player when creating a new Last.fm profile?. Your listening history can only be imported once, which is why you were able to on one computer but not the other.

  • Ahh, okay. Thanks!
