    Re:

    Quoth Ghod:
    Is there some way you can make it have a colored background, it doesn't show up too well on a dark gray background.

    Its meant to be see through.... does that not work for you?
    I can change the colour my end, but that changes the colour for everyone else as well ;)

    To everyone else, no problem :) more the merrier, heh.

  • Nah the reason forums don't like it is that its a dynamic image, both yours and the one I'm using.
    Its strange though how it doesn't work but winamp plug ins do.

    Signatures are for people with free time.

    Hehe, dont be ashamed if you cant get it to work.....

    start with {IMG}
    just replace the { with [ and } with ]..........
    Then type the bit you had, that was right... http://www.denness.net/scrobblersig.php?username=yourusername
    and then to end it, {/IMG} replacing the brackets with the correct ones again.

    PM me if you need any more help, or send your email address and ill email instructions that I can actually type!

    Cheers

    okily dokily....
    To eleborate on how to use the sig ON THIS FORUM:

    copy and paste the code exactly, THEN remove the * and replace the text "YOURUSERNAMEHERE" with your username...

    [*img]http://www.denness.net/scrobblersig.php?username=YOURUSERNAMEHERE

    I cant type the actual code because otherwise it'd appear as the image rather than the code.

    How to use the sig on a normal website that accepts HTML code: (i.e. not many forums do, AS forum doesnt..)
    <img src="http://www.denness.net/scrobblersig.php?username=YOURUSERNAMEHERE">;

    If you need more help, just PM me with your email address and ill email the exact code you need to type

    Thank you!
    Laurie

  • Okay....

    Firstly, thank you, this looks like its going to be great.

    Secondly, goddamn BBcode. Took me ages to realise what I was doing wrong - writing in html not BBcode.

    Thirdly: Now it shows the image, but it says 'Audioscrobbler is broke'

    Is that actually a problem with Audioscrobbler, or have I managed to do something else wrong?

    EDIT: No, it was just me.

    So yeah, ingnore parts two and three, and move part one from future tense into present tense.

    To anyone getting the "audioscrobbler.com is broke" error message, either listen to some more music and check again, or modify the username part of the URL... there seems to be some problem with people having capital letters in their usernames. So if it doesnt work, just play around with different combinations of your capatalisations and try again.

    Apologies for the short scrobblersig downtime this evening... It was linked to the AS downtime, which was caused by lucifer randomly dying, which caused PHP on my webserver to randomly die, and everything just went t*ts up.
    But hey, AS is back, and zion (my webserver) is fine again, so on with the scrobbling! :)
    216 different people have now used the service, which is fantastic, server is still coping fine to keep em coming :)

    You have to include the link between ["img"] and ["/img"] tags (without the quotes, I just added them so the tags are visible in this post and are not interpreted as an attempt to insert an image).

  • So we just slap image tags on it and it works, or do we need you to set it up for us lozzd?

    From what I'm seeing in your sig, it seems to be working!
