mp3 device update audioscrobbler?

  • mp3 device update audioscrobbler?

Do any MP3 devices work with WMP, so that after a Sync that data goes to audioscrobbler plug-in ...?

My DH just got me a Rave MP ARC 2.5 ... and I like it so far, but I can't see that it has anything to do with counting tracks played on the actual device even, let alone how to get it to update with audioscrobbler.

Does anyone have any info on this kind of thing? I so far have just used a playlist for the last 30 days in WMP to sync to my device. So if there is a plugin somewhere online that would help me do what I want, or a specific playlist option that would help me ... please let me know about it here.

I searched for an answer in this [WMP] forum, but didn't find one. I can't be sure I didn't miss it though, so point me kindly to another thread if it's applicable. :)

I am using WMP10 and audioscrobbler 1.18 plugin, and have Rave MP ARC 2.5 device.

    Thanks!

  • Doesn't anyone have any info on this at all ... or if you use any other brand of mp3 player at all with WMP, WMP10 in particular, is there a "songs played" feature on the mp3 player that when you sync to WMP updates all songs played to your library "played counts" and/or an audioscrobbler submit ability then too?

It can be just counting the name of the songs and each as 1 no matter how many times played, or actually counting all the times played.

I know the iPod has stuff avail for this, but I don't have an iPod and don't want an iPod really. I like WMP, except for that now that I have an mp3 player, my music listened to isn't going to update on audioscrobbler unless I do not use my mp3 player at all at home, which really sucks.
