Is Britain going all Nordic?

The extra cold weather, Danish TV programmes, and Swedish films and furniture suggest the UK seems to be getting close then ever to its neighbours across the North Sea.

I'm more aligned myself culturally with Scandinavia, whether it literature, music, film or TV. I've not quite sampled their rotting fish dishes, drink or native dress but i'm sure it's only a matter of time.

I also admire their social stances, education, political leanings and their handling of their resources too. We could learn a trick or two from them.

Exactly the same here. Hopefully I will be studying in Sweden or Norway next year, whether or not I will have same opinions of Scandanavia afterwards, we will see.

I went to Denmark years ago and couldn't believe how friendly and helpful the people were, also saw a group of about thirty bikers passing through the town, being a biker myself I thought it was great.
