Alright - I understand that Top Lists are still slow - but why are they only slow for some people? I've done a lot of reading on the forum and haven't found an answer.

I've played way more than the songs I should have played in order to "get in line" for an update. I've also subscribed to the site. My top lists are still sitting at Feb 10. What's the deal?

Why hasn't there been some sort of queue prioritization (sp?) put in place that makes sure people who have subscribed are updated before free users? I did a random sampling of the users posting on the message board and most of them were updated - especially the free users. Is it just me or is that sort of thing a bit backwards?

The userbase is growing at an alarming rate, things are breaking. You having a hissy fit because it's not working for you (subscription or not) isn't going to help or get you answers any faster.

The money may well take a little while to filter through and to have a noticeable effect.

So in the meantime, listen to music and hope more people donate. Like me shortly.

Plus there are those theories about people possibly being pushed off the queue or whatnot. Who knows until the devs give us an explanation. As it stands that new server is going in sometime soonish, so wait and see what that achieves.

I wasn't having a "hissy fit," dude. I was just looking for more details than the vague "wait and something will either get better or it will get worse" answers that are so prevalent around here.

I really am sorry if my post came across as having a hissy fit because that wasn't my intention. My sole intention in posting was to try and get the answers from the devs that everyone else seems to be wanting as well. If enough people ask the question, an answer will generally be more forthcoming, I've noticed.

There was a queue prioritisation thing, but it was only beta so it mustn't have worked well or they probably would have kept it

He's not the only one wanting an explanation of what's going on from the developers. I basically threw a fit a few days ago and pissed off a moderator. I don't see what's so hard about keeping the user base informed on what's going on.

    hi,

i subscribed to audioscrobbler two weeks ago to que jump, and money were pulled from my account march 2nd. i still haven't got a + in front of my profile name, and none of my ~2500 uploaded songs have entered the profile (still stuck with first membership weeks in january-uploads). yes, i were logged in when i donated the money.

what is wrong? i don't know if it is supposed to take this time even when i que jump (uploading new stuff daily), but since my profile still is ~rounds and not +rounds, it indicates that my profile haven't been upgraded yet. anyone know what is going on?

    thanks and cheers!

umm, isn't an explanation from the devs basically what she was asking for?!

Also, you seem to be the one having the "hissy fit".

Yeah she was, but I don't think the "If enough people ask the question, an answer will generally be more forthcoming..." approach is a particularly good one. In the first post I've seen from a dev in a while he stated he hadn't seen anyone who worked there for some time, and that he just didn't have the time to respond to questions.

I want to know what's going on too, I don't think hassling them till they break is the right way of going about it.

I know... I would have thought with the new server everything would be back up to speed by now.
