Anniversary (Milestone) tracks grabber

  • Brilliant! Thanks very much. :)

  • thank you so much... but major problem?

thanks, i really love it but i think there is some problem with the tracker...

my 10000th song is fashion by lady gaga... but then it says battlefield by jordin sparks... i tracked my 10k song myself.... its impossible that jordin would be my 10k play because i only listened to her after i reached 11k...

please arrange thanks... or maybe i misinterpreted it...

maybe its my scrobbles... not including my previous plays back then when i have no last.fm account yet... please arrange... thanks

Totally script can take only 10159 tracks (at the moment) instead of 11272 (those in your counter). So you may use alternative offset option, it will work like you have all 11272 tracks (but actually you don't; seems some tracks were been removed, but your plays counter hasn't updated).
Don't forget to clear the cache before enabling alt.offset. (Anyway, I already cleared it for you, so you can just try again, but WITH checked alt.offset option)

  • Re: thank you so much... but major problem?

Thank you... i already used the alt... how can i update my play counter btw?

Your anniversary (Minestone) track graber verses Anniversary tracks calculator By Kastuvas_

I have been looking for this since I joined last.fm in September of last year. Thank you for doing it. I am not sure whose is correct:

This is the output from your Milestone Calc.

1000: (2008-11-17 00:57:05): Skip Cleavinger - Let Saints On Earth In Concert Sing
    2000: (2008-12-05 04:59:44): The Beatmasters.feat.Melin - Who's in the house(rare extended US remix)
    3000: (2008-10-26 02:04:38): Fine Young Cannibals - She Drives Me Crazy (David Z 1
4000: (2008-11-25 12:05:59): Dead Or Alive - You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)
    5000: (2008-12-19 18:00:22): Lime - Your Love
    6000: (2009-01-05 19:55:21): The Radio Dept. - I Don't Like It Like This
    7000: (2009-01-17 11:29:59): Rick James - Super Freak [Original 12']
    8000: (2009-01-28 04:56:54): Kaci - Can't Help Myself (7 Inch Almighty Mix)
    9000: (2009-02-09 01:01:47): Skip Cleavinger - Of the Father's Love Begotten
10000: (2009-02-20 21:31:35): Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart (Peel sessions)
    11000: (2009-03-05 07:36:03): Martinelli - Voice (In The Night)
    12000: (2009-03-17 05:07:39): Green Velvet - La La Land
    13000: (2009-03-30 19:29:15): U2 - Red Light (Remastered)

    gotcha by anniversary tracks grabber

This is the output from Kastuvas_ Milestone Calc:

Notice that it stops at 15000 and yours stops at 13000? Last.fm says I have scrobbled over 15,432 tracks and counting. The latter one gives me the statement
"You have old account so there are about 2380 old tracks which will remain unknown." which about the offset that I see in the in the 2.

I did some spot checks of my charts putting a known number and was able to see that you they are correct but that doesn't say why yours stops at 13000.

    Thank you,

    George

that's OK, try again with alternative offset option, I've upgraded it. (don't forget to clear the cache before changing alt.offset option).

    TY for the feedback.

  • Oh, my stuff was mentioned, sounds like a competition :D
Any thoughts why gworleys profile is odd?
I didnt fix that yet :/

    The silence has been broken.
  • Kastuvas_, actually, I don't think it's a competition, sorry. XD

    Hmm ...

For my 41000th to 47000th played track it's right, rest is wrong, e.g. it displays my 40000th track as my 39996th track. ô_O

  • thaeasy, thank you.

xehpuk, have you scrobbled anything from iPod or removed any tracks?

    iPod: No.
Removed: Good question, I can't really remember ... Normally, I don't do that, I'd only do that with a misspelled track, but before I listen to a song I check its ID3-tags and correct them if necessary. So, theoretically, there's the (even if very low) possibilty that this is the reason.

  • I have an empty space in my username between "solid" and "snake" so it doesn't work :/ Can you fix this bug ?

  • solid snake
done, thanks for feedback. MGS rocks.

  • Thank you very much ! :)

  • good.

    An error was encounted

Hi, thanks for a great script. It worked flawlessly for me for quite a while, but the lasr week or so the script fails to execute and comes up with this:
    An Error Was Encountered

Unable to load the requested file: pages/internal_error_html.php

This happens regardless of if i go with the default options or tick the alt offset.

    Any tips appreciated, gtx1

  • Ehhm, it seems that server is quite unstable when you get that message.
    I'm sorry :(

  • An Error Was Encountered

Unable to load the requested file: pages/internal_error_html.php
    ---
And I want my anniversary tracks grabber. What should I do :(?

  • Thx, this was really needed, I'm using it at my profile^^

  • Oops

I'm so sorry, but my server is seems to be quite unstable now. :(

Does anybody have the same problem?
I would be very glad when it would be working again.
    But thanx anyway =)
