    Stats Reset?

i've seen that a lot of people's stats have been reset, what is the reason for this?

  • I think because they wanted to start again. Resetting your stats is a personal option (Settings - account)

Remember to say "thank you" for the things you haven't had
  • I guess they wanted to reset them, and used their ability to do so...

  • Damn it, you win :P

  • :P
But the difference is small ;)

ok, i thought that would be the reason but i also thought that a problem with the site may have occured, but why would anyone want to reset they're stats?? i mean maybe if u want to delete a certain artist, then u could just get rid of 'em in your profile tag editor, eh w/e

Not a problem with the site though, they never lose listening data ;)

Some people feel their musical preferences change drastically. Because of this, they want to purge all the old neighbours and Recommendations that may be brought back by those old artists. I don't understand it myself, but thats how it works.

  • I hate to hijink this topic, but I reset my stats (had problems getting songs to update) and now my charts aren't updating. I've played 20+ tracks since resetting the stats. Anyone know how long it takes for the charts to kick back in?

They'll take a bit longer than that! Just give it a bit of patience.

In actual fact, its beacuse there is a queue on the server. Notice how you have no "Tracks Played"? Well if that doesn't update, nor will your charts. Give it a few hours and everything should have cleared up, hopefully.

Sometimes it's good to start from zero.
Everyone should do it at least once in their life.
