    Plug-in seems to be dead.

A few days ago, when audioscrobbler was down, my plug-in kept receiving data, and I got about 130 songs in the cache. Later, they got updated on my profile, but since then, it doesn't even receive data in my plug-in's cache. I checked if my user information is correct, I also uninstalled and reinstalled the plug-in a few times, but nothing seems to work... help, please?

Do the items still show up on your Recently Played Tracks?

To find out select it in WinAmp and press Alt+3 and seewhat it says.

Yes, they are. Here's an example of how most of my stuff are tagged:

They were tagged like this before this odd bug occured, and they worked perfectly, so I don't see any reason for why they shouldn't work now...

Push that button that says View Log File, copy what's in there and paste it here (if it's really long, probably just a sample including the top part).

These aren't tagged so they won't submit. You may also want to upgrade to v. 1.1.10. I've never had a problem with it not submitting.

I don't understand what's the problem here, it worked just perfectly before... and I don't understand what should I upgrade to. Could you explain? I'm not too knowledged about all these stuff...

I've got a lot of tracks cached, do you know if I'll lose them if I upgrade?

  • Have you got the mp3pro plugin installed? If so you'll need to remove it.

Any changes to the Winamp config lately? Also, like PurpleMonkey says, there has been some conflict between the mp3pro plugin and Audioscrobbler, so disable it and see if that helps.

I didn't change anything in the Winamp config, and I don't even know what this mp3pro plug-in thing is.

Look in your plugins section of Winamp and see if the mp3pro plugin is in there.

Hmm. Update to version 1.1.10.. Just seen your log and it isnt the latest version. Uninstall and re-install winamp too, see if that helps. Damn these obscure bugs popping up..

    http://www.last.fm/postsignup.php and select Winamp.

Reinstall Winamp first. Let's hope that works.
