No option to start auto-renew subscription

  • No option to start auto-renew subscription

I had an auto-renew subscription when I first signed up. When I recently changed my credit card info on PayPal it automagically cancelled said subscription. Okay, cool. Onto the problem.

There's a page in the FAQ (http://www.last.fm/help/faq?category=104#307) that says I should be able to purchase an auto-renew subscription at http://www.last.fm/subscribe. However, I'm looking at this page and there is absolutely no option for auto-renew. I can only pick a one-time payment of 1, 3, 6, or 12 months. Also, if I switch to the "For a friend" tab, there's a drop-down with one-time payment selected that is disabled so I can't change it!

I'm tearing my hair out trying to get my auto-renew subscription set up again! What the heck is going on?

Please help me. I'm so desperate. It's sad really.

  • It's weird. I confirm, is the auto-renew option gone? I saw it a couple of days ago though...

You cannot set up an autorenew subscription because you are a subscriber. You have to let the fixed term subscription expire first.

  • Thanks Guys

Hey, thanks for the info! My subscription finally ran out this morning and I was able to setup the recurring again. I think that's a bit of a silly rule but all is well in the end!
