Group charts

  • Group charts

Been looking for a while, but don't think there's a thread about this already.
I was wondering, is it possible to have overall charts for groups as well?
    I'd love to see those!

Keep up the good work though guys!

This does exist, however a group needs 15 members or more to qualify

To access just go to the group and whack the "charts" link at the top

  • Hmmm... I think I'm kinda blind, but I really don't see that :-s

For example this group... http://www.last.fm/group/Belgium/charts has 137 members, but still there are only weekly charts?

  • Anyone who knows this?

Overall charts for groups were done away with months ago in favor of weekly charts because it was felt that users with large profiles, users who had top artists with large play counts, spammers, and users who had stopped using the site all made the overall charts useless for the purpose of seeing what was liked in the groupss.

    Music, like language, is universal.

Yes, in our opinion, overall group charts are totally useless.

i agree that overall group charts are useless, but do the weekly charts actually work?

    *click*

are those play counts or just the people who played the artists?

because i myself played, say, lou rhodes 24 times in this week, why does it say 1 for the group charts?

after all, this group has 20 users...just wondering! ;)

The second one, each person who listens only counts for 1 on the charts

Still not changed your mind? ;-)
I really don't see how they would be useless... I'd even say the charts we get now are more useless :-s
